Heart Education Awareness Resource and Training through E-learning

About HEARTe

Development

Members were recruited from variety of professions including cardiology, psychology, dietetics and general practice. All groups also have reviewers from a broad range of areas including acute and general practice to assist the developmental process. Within groups and communicating remotely across Scotland, development continued with facilitation from the CHSS Project Manager and the University of Edinburgh's Interactive Content Team.

The cases now include varied web based interactive activities including a range of quizzes, video clips, animations and examples of patient documentation. All of these required group development of detailed feedback, referencing and illustrative ideas with support from the University team. There were also a number of collaborations with recognised cardiac professional bodies and organisations.
